La situation paradoxale de la narratrice qui tue son mari et se dénonce à la police afin de se libérer va s’éclairer au fil des pages quand le lecteur découvre toutes les violences physiques et psychologiques qu’elle a subies. Après sa libération, elle décide de se réfugier dans l’écriture afin de décrire sa vie tourmentée, et ce en commençant par son rapport ambigu avec sa mère.Oscillant entre raison et folie, la narratrice crée un monde dans lequel le pouvoir prodigieux de l’écriture va l’aider à se remémorer son passé, décrire les violences, dépasser ses peurs et espérer un avenir meilleur. À travers les mots, elle réussit à extérioriser ses maux refoulés. سنستهل تفكيرنا هذا بفكرة أن العنف يمكن أن يكون خلاصا و كأنه علاج للهروب من رتابة الحياة اليومية،فقتل الكاتبة لزوجها ثم تبليغ الشرطة بعد ذلك من أجل تحرير نفسها يبين لنا نوعا ما، موقفا جد متناقض،لكن الفكرة تصبح أكثر وضوحا مع مرور الصفحات، عندما يكتشف القارئ كل العنف الجسدي و النفسي الذي تعرضت إليه، و قد قررت اللجوء إلى الكتابة بعد إطلاق سراحها، لتصف لنا ما مرت به أي حياتها المعذبة التعيسة بدءا بالعلاقة الغامضة التي تربطها بأمها.فالرواية تتأرجح بين العقل و الجنون فتخلق لنا عالما تلعب فيه الكتابة دورا مركزيا إذ تساعدها هذه القوة الهائلة على تذكر ماضيها ووصف العنف الذي تعرضت إليه و كذا التغلب على مخاوفها لتأمل في تأسيس مستقبل أفضل فهي تنجح من خلال الكلمات في إخراج كل ما يختلج صدرها، كل آلامها المكبوتة. Our reflection begins with the idea that violence could be deliverance, a therapy to escape daily life. The paradoxical situation of the narrator, who kills her husband and reports herself to the police in order to become free, will become clever over the pages when the reader discovers all the physical and psychological violence she has suffered. After her release, she decides to take refuge in writing in order to describe her tormented life, starting with her ambiguous relationship with her mother.Oscillating between reason and madness, the narrator creates a world in which the prodigious power of writing will help her remember her past, describe violence, overcome her fears and hop for a better future.
