Pour ce faire, nous avons choisi le roman « May Laiali Isis Kobia, Trois Cent et une Nuits dans l’Enfer des Oiseaux » de Wassini Al Aaraj comme modèle. Dans un premier temps, nous avons mis en évidence le titre en tant que reflet de la douleur. Ensuite, nous avons abordé la domination masculine et sa vision inférieure des femmes, ainsi que la crise de la modernité représentée par l’institution médiatique qui s’est liguée contre « May », et le système religieux qui a restreint la liberté des femmes. En conclusion, ce roman est une mosaïque de schémas douloureux, et « May » incarne l’image des femmes arabes souffrant de l’oppression qui leur est imposée, réduites à un simple numéro par les autres. This article aims to analyze the pattern of pain and suffering in the Algerian novel. To achieve this, we selected the novel « May Laiali Isis Kobia, Three Hundred and One Nights in the Hell of the Birds » by Wassini Al Aaraj as a model. Initially, we highlighted the title as a reflection of pain. We then addressed male dominance and its inferior view of women, as well as the crisis of modernity depicted by the media institution that conspired against « May, » and the religious system that restricted women’s freedom. Il retrace la naissance du corps colonisé et esquisse les prémices et les retombées de l’instrumentalisation du corps par l’appareil colonial notamment français. À ce jour, la résurgence de l’histoire coloniale s’attèle toujours de la décolonisation des esprits mais n’évoque que très rarement celle qui passe par le corps. Cet article prône le retour de l’historiographie coloniale sous un nouveau paradigme jusque-là très peu exploité et qui proposerait d’analyser le fait colonial à la lumière d’un passage conceptuel du corps colonial au corps colonisé. La présente communication s’articulera autour de l’Afrique colonisée, plus spécialement les deux cas concrets de l’Algérie et de l’Afrique Occidentale Française (AOF). تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على ممارسة السياسة عبر استغلال الجسم/الجسد و تتطرق إلى ميلاد مفهوم الجسم المستعمر و ظهور بوادره و نتائج استغلال الجسم التي آلت اليها السياسة الاستعمارية خاصة الفرنسية منها. تتناول الدراسات التاريخية, إلى يومنا هذا, الظاهرة الاستعمارية بصب جل اهتمامها على زوال الاستعمار الذهني أي من منطلق استقلال الفكر لكن قل ما تتناول ما يحدث عبر الجسد. يشكل هذا العمل منبرا ينادي إلى العودة إلى الدراسات التاريخية حول الظاهرة الاستعمارية لكن بمنظور جديد قليلا ما لجأت إليه الدراسات و هو منظور ينادي بتحليل الظاهرة الاستعمارية بتحويل زاوية التدقيق من التدقيق في المؤسسة الاستعمارية إلى التدقيق في الجسد المستعمر. تعنى الدراسة بالتدقيق في نموذجين هما التجربة الجزائرية و غرب افريقيا في الحقبة الاستعمارية. This article puts in the limelight the practice of politics via the exploitation of the body and the consequences of the instrumentalization of that body by colonialism, the french colonialism notably. Up to this day, the appearance of the colonial history still deals with the decolonization operations and very rarely mentions that which was practiced using the colonized body. This article advocates the return of the colonial historiography under a new paradigm. This one has been infrequently exploited and brings us to analyze colonialism on a different conceptual angle, marked by the move from colonial forces to colonized body.
