Autrement dit, comment le récit romanesque prend-il en charge le mythe ? Comment les mythes antiques (ici le collier maudit) et le mythe littéraire (ici les amants maudits) participent-ils d’un projet littéraire qui renvoie par allégorie à l’histoire de l’horreur en Algérie ? Le corpus retenu présentement est relatif aux thèmes mythiques qui structurent le roman Le secret de la girelle d’Amina Mekahli, publié aux éditions ANEP, en 2016. In this article, we have chosen to work on the mythical themes that structure the novel Le secret de la girelle of Amina Mekahli, published by ANEP, in 2016. We will propose to show how the narrative reinvests the myth through the notion of the sacred to demystify it and include it in the human dimension, the one of the literary narrative. In other words, how does the romance story support the myth? How do the ancient Myths (the cursed necklace) and the literary myth (cursed lovers) partake of a literary project that returns by allegory to the history of horror in Algeria?
