Cet éditorial examine un corpus exploratoire de neuf publications accessibles en ligne, datées de 2019 à 2026, complété par un relevé comparatif de dénominations administratives sur des sites officiels. Une lecture qualitative des désignations, des modalités et des relations argumentatives distingue les cadrages de l’expansion de l’anglais et met à l’épreuve les généralisations du commentaire expert. L’analyse de l’intitulé ministériel algérien établit une correspondance entre versions linguistiques, sans transformer cette correspondance en preuve d’une filiation française exclusive. Elle distingue la traduction d’un nom institutionnel de la transformation des catégories qui organisent l’action. Ces observations documentent des représentations et des prescriptions ; elles ne mesurent ni les compétences ni une substitution sociolinguistique effective. En reliant ces analyses aux contributions du numéro, l’éditorial interroge les médiations de l’accès aux savoirs et annonce un texte sur l’alloglossie intérieure et la citoyenneté. تدعو التحولات التي تعرفها مكانة اللغة الإنجليزية في الجزائر إلى التمييز بين القيمة المسندة إلى اللغات في الخطاب العمومي، وبرمجتها المؤسسية، وشروط تملّكها. تفحص هذه الافتتاحية مدونة استكشافية تضم تسع مواد منشورة على الإنترنت بين عامي 2019 و2026، وتستكملها بمقارنة تسميات إدارية واردة في مواقع رسمية. وتُخضع القراءة الكيفية للتسميات والروابط الحجاجية تأطيرات انتشار الإنجليزية وتعميمات التعليق الخبير للفحص النقدي. ويُظهر تحليل التسمية الوزارية الجزائرية تناظرا بين صيغها اللغوية، من دون اعتبار هذا التناظر دليلا على أصل فرنسي حصري. كما يميز بين ترجمة اسم المؤسسة وتحويل الفئات التي تنظم عملها. وتوثق هذه الملاحظات تصورات وتوجيهات، ولا تقيس الكفايات الفعلية أو إحلال لغة محل أخرى في الممارسات الاجتماعية. وبربط التحليل بإسهامات العدد، تتناول الافتتاحية وساطات الولوج إلى المعارف، وتعلن عن نص مخصص للألوغلوسيا الداخلية والمواطنة. Changes in the position of English in Algeria call for a distinction between the value publicly assigned to languages, their institutional scheduling, and the conditions under which learners make them their own. This editorial examines an exploratory corpus of nine online publications from 2019 to 2026, supplemented by a comparison of administrative names on official websites. A qualitative reading of labels, modality, and argumentative relations examines both framings of the expansion of English and generalisations in expert commentary. The analysis of the Algerian ministry’s name establishes a correspondence across linguistic versions without treating it as proof of exclusively French mediation. It distinguishes the translation of an institutional name from changes in the categories organising institutional action. These observations concern representations and prescriptions; they do not measure proficiency or establish societal language replacement. Connecting this analysis with the issue’s contributions, the editorial considers the mediations that enable access to knowledge and introduces a forthcoming contribution on internal alloglossia and citizenship.
