https://aleph.edinum.org:443/17022 Entrées d’index fr 0 https://aleph.edinum.org:443/17315 La présente contribution examine les représentations sociolinguistiques associées au parler des femmes en Algérie, en particulier les stéréotypes qui le relient au bavardage, à la politesse linguistique, au choix lexical ou à certaines formes expressives. À partir d’une enquête par questionnaire menée auprès d’environ cent participants issus de milieux instruits — médecins, enseignants de français et étudiants —, l’étude interroge la persistance, la circulation et la recomposition de ces représentations dans un contexte algérien marqué par des transformations sociales, culturelles et linguistiques. L’analyse articule un cadrage variationniste, une approche des représentations sociales, une lecture genrée des pratiques langagières et une attention aux procédés discursifs de stéréotypisation. Elle montre que les enquêtés reconnaissent majoritairement une différence entre les pratiques langagières attribuées aux hommes et celles attribuées aux femmes, tout en relativisant certains stéréotypes traditionnellement associés au féminin, notamment le bavardage et la politesse. L’article défend ainsi l’idée que le genre ne produit pas mécaniquement des formes linguistiques stables, mais qu’il oriente des évaluations sociales, des attentes normatives et des manières de catégoriser les locuteurs. تتناول هذه الدراسة التمثّلات السوسيولسانية المرتبطة بكلام النساء في الجزائر، ولا سيما الصور النمطية التي تربطه بالثرثرة، والتهذيب اللغوي، والاختيار المعجمي، وبعض الصيغ التعبيرية. وتنطلق الدراسة من استبيان ميداني وُجّه إلى نحو مئة مشارك من أوساط متعلّمة، شملت أطباء وأساتذة للغة الفرنسية وطلبة، بهدف رصد مدى استمرار هذه التمثلات أو تحوّلها في سياق جزائري يعرف تغيرات اجتماعية وثقافية ولسانية متسارعة. وتستند القراءة إلى منظور سوسيولساني تنويعي، وإلى مقاربة التمثلات الاجتماعية، وإلى تحليل جندري للممارسات اللغوية، مع عناية خاصة بآليات بناء الصور النمطية وتداولها. وتُظهر النتائج أنّ أغلب المشاركين يقرّون بوجود اختلاف مدرَك بين الكلام المنسوب إلى الرجال والكلام المنسوب إلى النساء، غير أنّهم يراجعون في الوقت نفسه بعض الصور النمطية المتوارثة، وخصوصاً ما يتصل بالثرثرة والتهذيب. وبذلك تبيّن الدراسة أنّ الجندر لا ينتج أشكالاً لغوية ثابتة بصورة آلية، بل يوجّه الأحكام الاجتماعية والتوقعات المعيارية وطرائق تصنيف المتكلمين. This article examines the sociolinguistic representations associated with women’s speech in Algeria, focusing on stereotypes that relate it to talkativeness, linguistic politeness, lexical choice and expressive forms. Based on a questionnaire administered to approximately one hundred participants from educated social backgrounds — physicians, teachers of French and students —, the study investigates the persistence, circulation and transformation of these representations in an Algerian context shaped by social, cultural and linguistic change. The analysis combines a variationist perspective, a theory of social representations, a gender-oriented approach to language practices and an examination of the discursive procedures through which stereotyping operates. The findings show that most respondents acknowledge a perceived difference between speech practices attributed to men and those attributed to women, while also questioning some stereotypes traditionally attached to femininity, especially talkativeness and politeness.
