Considéré comme un micro-texte placé au seuil de l’article, le titre condense l’information, hiérarchise l’événement et propose au lecteur un premier cadre d’intelligibilité. À partir d’un corpus raisonné de vingt-cinq titres issus de trois quotidiens algériens francophones — Le Soir d’Algérie, Le Quotidien d’Oran et El Watan —, l’étude décrit les choix syntaxiques, les valeurs sémantiques et les effets pragmatiques par lesquels la presse catégorise la réforme, la problématise ou la légitime. L’analyse montre que les titres verbaux actualisent l’événement en privilégiant l’action, tandis que les titres averbaux renforcent la condensation, l’implicite et la saillance axiologique. Les résultats mettent également en évidence la coexistence de fonctions informative, incitative, évaluative, problématisante et argumentative, portées par l’ironie, l’intertextualité, la métaphore, l’interrogation et l’exclamation. Le titre apparaît ainsi comme un acte de langage condensé et comme un opérateur de cadrage médiatique des politiques linguistiques éducatives. تتناول هذه الدراسة عناوين الصحف بوصفها موضعًا مكثفًا لبناء الخطاب حول حدث تربوي وسوسيولساني يتمثل في إدراج اللغة الإنجليزية في التعليم الابتدائي بالجزائر. فالعنوان الصحفي، باعتباره نصًا مصغرًا يقع على عتبة المقال، لا يكتفي بتلخيص الخبر، بل يبرز الحدث، ويرتب عناصره، ويقترح على القارئ إطارًا أوليًا لتأويله. وتعتمد الدراسة على مدونة قصدية تضم خمسة وعشرين عنوانًا منشورة في ثلاث صحف جزائرية ناطقة بالفرنسية : « لو سوار دالجيري »، و« لو كوتيديان دوران »، و« الوطن ». وتحلل الدراسة الاختيارات النحوية والقيم الدلالية والآثار التداولية التي من خلالها تصنف الصحافة هذا الإصلاح أو تشرعنه أو تطرحه بوصفه إشكالًا عموميًا. وتبين النتائج أن العناوين الفعلية تحين الحدث وتبرز الفعل والفاعلين، في حين تعزز العناوين اللا فعلية التكثيف والإضمار والبروز القيمي. كما تكشف الدراسة عن تداخل وظائف إخبارية وتحريضية وتقويمية وإشكالية وحجاجية، تدعمها السخرية والتناص والاستعارة والاستفهام والتعجب. وبذلك يظهر العنوان الصحفي بوصفه فعلًا كلاميًا مكثفًا وأداة مركزية في تأطير السياسات اللغوية التربوية إعلاميًا. This article examines press headlines as a privileged site for the discursive construction of an educational and sociolinguistic event: the introduction of English into Algerian primary education. Viewed as a micro-text placed at the threshold of the newspaper article, the headline condenses information, hierarchizes the event and offers readers an initial frame of interpretation. Based on a purposive corpus of twenty-five headlines taken from three Algerian French-language daily newspapers — Le Soir d’Algérie, Le Quotidien d’Oran and El Watan — the study describes the syntactic choices, semantic values and pragmatic effects through which the press categorizes, problematizes or legitimizes the reform. The analysis shows that verbal headlines actualize the event by foregrounding action, whereas verbless headlines strengthen condensation, implicit meaning and axiological salience. The findings also reveal the coexistence of informative, incitative, evaluative, problematizing and argumentative functions, supported by irony, intertextuality, metaphor, interrogation and exclamation.
