À partir de la géocritique, et plus précisément du concept westphalien de transgressivité, nous proposons l’expression « transgressivité mythique » pour désigner le franchissement conjoint de frontières spatiales, narratives et symboliques. L’enquête met ainsi en évidence la manière dont le film articule seuils, passages, miroirs, villes, vaisseaux et univers parallèles pour relancer des mythes anciens et modernes, de Platon à Alice, de la figure messianique aux imaginaires contemporains de l’intelligence artificielle et du métavers. Il apparaît dès lors que le parcours initiatique de Néo/Thomas Anderson configure une arborescence de récits où s’entrecroisent lieux, temporalités, figures culturelles et régimes de réalité. تتناول هذه الدراسة الدينامية الأسطورية في فيلم Matrix Resurrections (لانا ووتشوسكي، 2021)، وتبيّن أن الفيلم لا يكتفي بتجميع الإحالات الثقافية والفلسفية والدينية، بل ينظّم تداولها ضمن شبكة دلالية متشعبة. وانطلاقًا من الجيونقد، وبالاستناد خاصة إلى مفهوم « التعدّي » عند برتران ويستفال، نقترح صيغة « التعدّي الأسطوري » للدلالة على عبور الحدود المكانية والسردية والرمزية في آنٍ واحد. ومن ثمّ تكشف الدراسة كيف يعيد الفيلم تشغيل أساطير قديمة وحديثة عبر العتبات والممرات والمرايا والمدن والسفن والعوالم الموازية، من أسطورة الكهف عند أفلاطون إلى أليس، ومن البنية المسيحانية إلى تخييلات الذكاء الاصطناعي والميتافيرس. وبذلك يغدو المسار الاستهلالي لـنيو/توماس أندرسون مبدأً منظّمًا لسردية متشعبة تتقاطع فيها الأمكنة والأزمنة والشخصيات الثقافية وأنظمة الواقع. This article examines the mythic dynamics at work in The Matrix Resurrections (Lana Wachowski, 2021). It argues that the film does not merely accumulate cultural, philosophical, and religious references, but rather organizes them into a branching network of meanings. Drawing on geocriticism and, more specifically, on Bertrand Westphal’s notion of transgressivity, the study proposes the expression “mythic transgressivity” to describe the joint crossing of spatial, narrative, and symbolic boundaries. From this perspective, thresholds, mirrors, passages, cities, ships, and parallel worlds reactivate both ancient and modern myths, from Plato and Alice to messianic figures, artificial intelligence, and the metaverse.
