https://aleph.edinum.org:443/15529 Questo articolo analizza la figura dell’intellettuale impegnato nei romanzi Il sentiero dei nidi di ragno di Italo Calvino e L’Opium et le bâton di Mouloud Mammeri, alla luce delle teorie di Antonio Gramsci sull’intellettuale organico. Attraverso l’analisi del contesto storico e culturale delle due opere, la Resistenza italiana durante la Seconda guerra mondiale e la guerra di liberazione algerina contro il colonialismo francese, si evidenzia come i protagonisti, Kim e Bachir Lazrak, incarnino un ruolo etico, educativo e sociale, mediando tra coscienza individuale e responsabilità collettiva. La comparazione tra le due figure mette in luce analogie e differenze nella costruzione dell’identità dell’intellettuale militante, nella modalità di impegno politico e nella funzione della cultura come strumento di emancipazione. L’articolo sostiene che l’intellettuale organico, secondo Gramsci, non si limita alla dimensione culturale, ma assume responsabilità storiche e morali nella trasformazione della società. يتناول هذا المقال صورةَ المثقّف الملتزم في روايتي درب أعشاش العناكب لإيتالو كالفينو والأفيون والعصا لمولود معمري، في ضوء تصوّرات أنطونيو غرامشي حول «المثقّف العضوي». ومن خلال تحليل السياقين التاريخي والثقافي للعملين—المقاومة الإيطالية خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية، وحرب التحرير الجزائرية ضد الاستعمار الفرنسي—تُبرز الدراسة كيف يجسّد البطلان «كيم» و«بشير لازرق» دورًا أخلاقيًا وتربويًا واجتماعيًا، عبر الوساطة بين الضمير الفردي والمسؤولية الجماعية. وتكشف المقارنة بين الشخصيتين عن أوجه تشابه واختلاف في بناء هوية المثقّف المناضل، وفي طرائق الالتزام السياسي، وفي وظيفة الثقافة بوصفها أداةً للتحرّر والانعتاق. ويخلص المقال إلى أنّ «المثقّف العضوي» عند غرامشي لا يقتصر على وظيفة ثقافية فحسب، بل ينهض بمسؤوليات تاريخية وأخلاقية في مسار تحويل المجتمع. Cet article explore la figure de l’intellectuel engagé dans les romans Le Sentier des nids d’araignée d’Italo Calvino et L’Opium et le bâton de Mouloud Mammeri, à la lumière des théories d’Antonio Gramsci sur l’intellectuel organique. En analysant le contexte historique et culturel de ces deux œuvres, la Résistance italienne pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et la guerre de libération algérienne contre le colonialisme français, l’étude met en évidence comment les protagonistes, Kim et Bachir Lazrak, incarnent un rôle éthique, éducatif et social, en médiant entre conscience individuelle et responsabilité collective. La comparaison des deux figures révèle des similitudes et des différences dans la construction de l’identité de l’intellectuel militant, dans les modalités de l’engagement politique et dans la fonction de la culture comme instrument d’émancipation. L’article soutient que l’intellectuel organique, selon Gramsci, ne se limite pas à une fonction culturelle, mais assume des responsabilités historiques et morales dans la transformation de la société. AbstractThis article examines the figure of the engaged intellectual in Italo Calvino’s The Path to the Nest of Spiders and Mouloud Mammeri’s The Opium and the Stick, in the light of Antonio Gramsci’s theories of the organic intellectual. By analysing the historical and cultural contexts of the two works—the Italian Resistance during the Second World War and the Algerian war of liberation against French colonialism—the study shows how the protagonists, Kim and Bachir Lazrak, embody an ethical, educational, and social role by mediating between individual conscience and collective responsibility. Comparing these two figures reveals both similarities and differences in the construction of the militant intellectual’s identity, in the modalities of political commitment, and in the function of culture as an instrument of emancipation. The article argues that, for Gramsci, the organic intellectual is not confined to a cultural function but assumes historical and moral responsibilities in the transformation of society.
