Entre ellos, la figura de Abdelwahab Aïssaoui resulta particularmente significativa. Su novela Sierra de Muerte reconstruye la trayectoria de un grupo de republicanos españoles deportados a un campo de concentración en Argelia bajo el régimen de Vichy, y ofrece así una mirada argelina sobre un episodio central de la memoria histórica española.El objetivo de este artículo es analizar cómo Sierra de Muerte construye una memoria transnacional del exilio republicano desde un punto de vista argelino, articulando la violencia franquista y la violencia colonial francesa en el espacio del campo de Djelfa. Desde un enfoque cualitativo e interpretativo, el estudio combina el marco teórico de la literatura de ficción como fuente de información histórica con un análisis textual de la novela, centrado en la voz narrativa, la representación del espacio concentracionario y la configuración del sujeto exiliado.El análisis muestra que la novela desplaza el foco geográfico y simbólico de la Guerra Civil hacia el sur mediterráneo, convirtiendo el desierto argelino en un lugar de memoria compartida entre España y Argelia. De este modo, Sierra de Muerte no solo enriquece la comprensión del exilio republicano, sino que también contribuye a visibilizar la literatura argelina de expresión árabe en los debates contemporáneos sobre memoria histórica y colonialismo. اهتم عدد كبير من الروائيين الجزائريين بالحرب الأهلية الإسبانية وبخبرة المنفى الجمهوري، غير أن حضورهم في الفضاء البحثي الناطق بالإسبانية ما يزال محدودًا. ومن بين هؤلاء يبرز اسم عبد الوهاب عيساوي بوصفه صوتًا مميزًا. فروايته « سييرا دي مويرتي » تعيد بناء مسار مجموعة من الجمهوريين الإسبان الذين رُحِّلوا إلى معسكر اعتقال في الجزائر إبّان نظام فيشي، وتقدّم بذلك نظرةً جزائرية إلى حلقة أساسية من الذاكرة التاريخية الإسبانية. يهدف هذا المقال إلى تحليل الكيفية التي تبني بها رواية « سييرا دي مويرتي » ذاكرة عابرة للحدود عن المنفى الجمهوري انطلاقًا من منظور جزائري، من خلال الربط بين عنف الفرانكوية والعنف الاستعماري الفرنسي في فضاء معسكر دجلفة. ويعتمد البحث مقاربة نوعية تأويلية تمزج بين الإطار النظري الذي ينظر إلى الأدب التخييلي بوصفه مصدرًا للمعلومة التاريخية وبين قراءة نصية دقيقة للرواية، تركّز على الصوت السردي وتمثيل الفضاء الاعتقالي وبناء الذات المنفية. تبيّن القراءة أن الرواية تنقل مركز الثقل الجغرافي والرمزي للحرب الأهلية نحو الضفة الجنوبية للمتوسط، وتحول الصحراء الجزائرية إلى مكان للذاكرة المشتركة بين إسبانيا والجزائر. وبهذا لا تكتفي « سييرا دي مويرتي » بتعميق فهمنا للمنفى الجمهوري، بل تساهم أيضًا في إبراز الأدب الجزائري المكتوب بالعربية داخل النقاشات الراهنة حول الذاكرة التاريخية والاستعمار. Numerous Algerian novelists have shown interest in the Spanish Civil War and in the experience of Republican exile, although their reception in the Spanish-speaking academic field remains limited. Among them, Abdelwahab Aïssaouistands out as a particularly relevant figure. His novel Sierra de Muerte reconstructs the trajectory of a group of Spanish Republicans deported to a concentration camp in Algeria under the Vichy regime, thus offering an Algerian gaze on a key episode of Spanish historical memory.The aim of this article is to analyse how Sierra de Muerte builds a transnational memory of Republican exile from an Algerian perspective, articulating Francoist violence and French colonial violence within the space of the Djelfa camp. Drawing on a qualitative and interpretive approach, the study combines the theoretical framework of fiction as a source of historical knowledge with a close reading of the novel, focusing on the narrative voice, the representation of the concentration camp and the configuration of the exiled subject.The analysis shows that the novel shifts the geographical and symbolic focus of the Spanish Civil War towards the Southern Mediterranean, turning the Algerian desert into a shared site of memory between Spain and Algeria. In this way, Sierra de Muerte not only enriches our understanding of Republican exile but also contributes to making Algerian Arabic-language fiction more visible in current debates on historical memory and colonialism. De nombreux romanciers algériens se sont intéressés à la Guerre civile espagnole et à l’expérience de l’exil républicain, mais leur réception dans l’espace hispanophone reste marginale. Parmi eux, Abdelwahab Aïssaoui occupe une place singulière. Son roman Sierra de Muerte retrace le parcours d’un groupe de républicains espagnols déportés dans un camp de concentration en Algérie sous le régime de Vichy, et propose ainsi un regard algérien sur un épisode central de la mémoire historique espagnole.Cet article se donne pour objectif d’analyser la manière dont Sierra de Muerte construit une mémoire transnationale de l’exil républicain du point de vue algérien, en articulant la violence franquiste et la violence coloniale française dans l’espace du camp de Djelfa. Dans une démarche qualitative et interprétative, l’étude mobilise le cadre théorique de la fiction comme source d’information historique et s’appuie sur une lecture textuelle détaillée, centrée sur la voix narrative, la représentation de l’espace concentrationnaire et la configuration du sujet exilé.L’analyse montre que le roman déplace le foyer géographique et symbolique de la Guerre civile vers le Sud méditerranéen, faisant du désert algérien un lieu de mémoire partagé entre l’Espagne et l’Algérie.
