Every theatrical performance conveys a message to society. Weld Abderrehmane Kaki’s experience in theatre is notably successful. It is considered a model for authentic Algerian theatre because it draws inspiration from Algerian popular customs, habits, rituals, pains, hopes, and pride, using a dramaturgic language deeply rooted in pure Algerian folk patrimony. In addition to gestures and body language, Kaki integrates a rich heritage language laden with symbols from various forms of folk literature, making it resonate closely with the audience.
